Karen Collier
A published author by the age of 8 (yes, only a haiku, but she had to start somewhere) and an editor before she could drive, Karen quickly turned having “a way with words” into a marketing communications career. Armed with a B.A. in journalism and a concentration in public relations from the University of Richmond, she spearheaded a number of award-winning efforts in the healthcare marketing/pr field before settling into copywriting on the agency side of the business. A process person with a creative bent, she’s intrigued by how things fit together to “work,” whether it’s a do-it-yourself home renovation project or a communications plan for a marketing effort. For Karen, until every phrase and nuance is perfect, the job’s not done. And everyone here at EdgeMark is committed to the same standard.
